  2. I just started making amigurumi for my great niece. I love your page!! Everything you do is awesome. How can I get some of your free patterns to see if I can succeed in making your animals? Thanks for all the time you have spent making this page!!

    1. Hi Debbie! You can find some free patterns under the “free patterns” tab at the top of my blog page! The Buttons Mouse is also a free pattern – 🙂 Enjoy!

  3. Hi I’ve been gifted a gorgeous Granddaughter called Sophia Valerie she is now 12 weeks old and I’ve started to knit a teddy for her, ive not crocheted for over 20 years and have forgotten everything. Is it easy to get back into it because I love your little animals and I’m sure my Granddaughter will as well. I’m struggling with following patterns. What would you suggest starting with. Any advice really appreciated.
    Jules xx

    1. Congratulations on your granddaughter!! I find crocheting to be easier than knitting, personally! You will love getting back into it! Most of my animals are quite easy to make. Beginners do well with many of them. I would suggest Haribo the Bedtime Bear for your granddaughter! You can make it with pink and it would look very sweet! Good luck and please let me know if you need any help!

  4. Hi! LOVE your patterns!! Was looking for Spike The Dragon, would it be possible to see that pattern? He’s so cute! Thank you!!

  5. Have you ever made a porcupine? I am on the hunt…so to speak. I’m thinking of using your mouse head, change the ears…etc.
But I don’t want a softie. I want to make something like a mug coozy for a short fat round vase. It will be used for my crochet hooks. Thx for listening. LP

    1. I’m sorry, I haven’t made a porcupine doll yet. Interesting idea though. I’m not sure how I’d go about making the quills, but that’s something to think about! 🙂 Thank you for your suggestion! Good luck on your hunt!

  6. Your work is amazing have bought the horse pattern to give it a go ! Just love him ! Absolutely brilliant keep them coming ! Our grand children have many hours of fun with the stuff I make ! Not nearly as good as yours by the way ! Will send picture when done !

  7. Hi! Your animals are adorable and I just made an owl from your pattern. Are you going to post any more free patterns? Thanks!
    -Maja

    1. Thank you Maja! I will definitely be posting free patterns from time to time! Just check back or better yet, follow my FB page for updates! I tend to take a long time on my animals though so it might be a while before another pattern pops up!

  8. Thank you for your free turtle pattern. My 18mth old grand daughter loves “durtles” and I made this one for her. Your pattern was so well written and explained from start to finish.

Definitely will be making the others in your pattern directory. Thank you for sharing the joy.

  9. Thank you so much for the free patterns. I am an older Nana who does not have much money, so I make little animals for my 20 grand/great-grand children. Birthdays and Christmas keep me busy!! \@@/–my new eyes since surgeries!!!

  10. Thank you so much for generously sharing your adorable amigurumi creations with others for free!! I’ve never made one before & look forward to trying one of your patterns!!

  11. Hi,

First of all, thank you for a wonderful work. I love your patterns.

My name is Lyanne, and I have a blog called Los Enredos de Lyanne, in my blog i made spanish translations of free patterns for help to my followers that cant understand english patterns.

I wonder if it is possible for me to translate some of your free patterns into Spanish and share with my blog readers? There are many spanish crocheters that can not read English descriptions. Obviously, I will link to you and your pattern and give you credit for the work!

You can see my blog in losenredosdelyanne.blogspot.com.es

Please let me know if it is okay or not.
    Thanks in advance!

  12. OOH I spotted your Ami on amigurumi freely on FB… I love Sharon’s work and she is so giving in sharing others thus I found you and Sammy that really caught my eye. I am very new to amigurumi but it really has been a God sent for me at this time in my life. Not ever a serious crocheter but have done some but these little cuties are enough to grab anyone. I too thank you for the free patterns and cannot wait to start on Sammy first (of yours). My husband was diagnosed with C in January not an aggresive kind but scary and the Lord brought amigurumis about the same time. Really helps to keep me positive and everyone loves them.

  13. Bonjour vos amigurumis sont superbe. Quelle marque de laine utilisez – vous pour vos réalisations .Merci et faites nous encore rêvez avec vos réalisations . J’adore

    1. Hello! I mainly use Lion Brand Yarn. Specifically “Vanna’s Choice”. It’s a worsted weight acrylic yarn. Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Thank you for sharing your free amigurumi patterns.
I am working on Sammy the Seal and was wondering if you could help me make the pattern smaller. I would like to put it on a snuggle blanket. I have attempted using a smaller needles ( 2 sizes smaller) but it doesn’t look like it will be small enough.
If you have any suggestions I would appreciate your input.

  15. Sammy de Seal is zo schattig en lief dat ik hem zeker wil maken.
Bedankt voor het patroon. De andere zijn zeker ook heel leuk en lief.
Kijk zeker nog eens op deze site.

  16. Hi! I really admire your work. As someone else said, I have always crocheted, but never this kind of stuff. I find them beautiful. I’d love to start making one. What do you recommend me to begin with. Another question I have is, how to fill them, and what is a magic ring? Would you mind giving me some advice and help, if it’s possible write to my email. Thanks in advance. And congrats for your neat work.

    1. Thank you for your kind words! Oh there are many simple patterns to try! I think Stanley the giraffe is a nice easy one for a beginner! Or you can always try your hand at something smaller… like one of my free patterns!
A magic ring is a very useful technique to learn when making amigurumi! If you google the term, you will find picture and video tutorials to help you out! Good luck!!

  17. Hi there! I just started crocheting in the last year, and the first thing I ever attempted was actually your wasabi bunny from the first zoomigurumi book. Such easy to follow instructions, and such an awesome result. I just wanted to say I love your designs. 🙂 I adore the fox in your gallery. I can only hope a pattern for him will show up in a future publication somewhere, because I would absolutely pay to be able to make a little cutie like that. Thank you for all these free patterns as well! Going to bookmark your site and come back here in the future to make some more of your creations. I think I’m going to need more shelves in my room.

    1. I’m sorry! I wish that I could translate them all into every language but alas, I am only proficient in English. Someone was kind enough to translate the one pattern into Dutch for me.

  31. I love your patterns and clearly concise instructions. I started on the snake, just needs a few stablizing stitches and eyes, but I did add a little forked tongue. I can’t wait to work on some of your other patterns!

  35. I am not experienced in crocheting. I am trying to make the Humpty Dumpty and don’t understand rnd 3 of the arms. There are 12 stitches on and the row then decreases to 9. You (sc in next 2 st, dec) then repeat 4 times to get the 9, but I don’t understand how to do this row. If you can help that would be great, thank you.

  36. Hola. Por fin encontré el sitio para escribirte. Quería saber si me podés enviar el patrón de La Hipopótamo Bailarina con la sombrilla. Me encantó el diseño y lo quería hacer. Desde ya, muchas gracias. Cariños. Sonia.
